The same rules apply to every roleplay on this site. Unless it specifies otherwise.
1. No Power Playing, God Modding, modding or Flaming.
Modding
<<<Start>>>(From Forumwars.net)
This is posting something that contradicts something in a previous post. Everything in posts previous to yours is set, if you have problems with the way your character has been portrayed, you can take it up with the staff in one of the weekly staff-meetings, and they'll see if it's a legitimate problem or if you're just whining.
* Misportraying another's character, such as out-of-character actions, having them appear as slack-jawed sub-imbeciles in awe of your character's powers, et cetera, et cetera. You can get a pretty good idea of how your opponent's character will act from how they write their characters.
*Deciding a major plot-point for another player, such as which side they will be fighting on, whether or not they will continue to travel with a given group, and so on and so forth.
*Exterior Knowledge
This is another major problem of beginner and intermediate RPers, who bring exterior knowledge into the RP. This is also known as overobservancy, which is a character noticing that suspicious gleam in someones' eyes, seeing the faint shape of a hidden weapon beneath someones' cloak, smelling the gunpowder from their gun, and so on. If a character posts something as hidden, it is hidden. Yes, this rule can be abused, but not if there are moderators of a roleplay with any semblance of intelligence.
NPC Abuse
The Non-Poster or Non-Player Characters are subject to more abuse than anything else in a roleplay. NPCs should not be beaten without some loss on your character's part. Level NPCs are neutral or hostile.
* NPCs cannot help your character or fight your enemies for you, unless they are your registered NPCs,
<<<End>>>
2. This is a PG13 RolePlay! Keep Cybering out of it! If a cat sex scene comes up FADE TO BLACK, DRAW THE CURTAINS! We don't want any details.
3. Again PG13 keep the language clean. BE SMART! USE VOCABULARY!!!!!! Instead of Fuck use a sentence or another word. Things like retarded, gay, etc are unacceptable unless used in dialect.
4. Be RESPECTFUL! Don't discuss politics, religion or anything else that may offend other people. Don't put things up if you don't know if they might be and apologize if you do. This is not myspace and we are nice to each other here. No harassing or breaking any kind of law on this site.
5. No SPAMMING! If you do anything to my computer or this forum I will destroy your account. If I pick up a virus I may kill you. Seriously, don't do it. I hate junk mail.
6. Wait for your characters(s) to be accepted. Once you have read all the Must Read threads you may post A CHARACTER for approval but all posts put out before then will be deleted.
7. If you would like to be an affiliate you may send a request but you may not post ads or anything of the ilk anywhere else on the site. That includes mass messaging...this excludes the admin who is exempt from this rule.
8. If you put your character in the center of plot, take on a leadership role , etc you are expected to POST OFTEN! If you plan on being out for a while there is an area to let people know. If you don't want to play anymore give your account to someone else or KILL YOUR CHARACTER OFF and DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT!
9. Activity checks will be done monthly. The last day of each month we will send out a message asking you to sign and save your account in the Activity checks forum. You will than have until the next activity check, that is a MONTH!, before your account is terminated. We will try, but I can't promises, to send out a warning message at the end of the third week.
10. Spelling and grammar. People, use the built in spell check or copy and paste it from word or another program. If you have firefox you don't need to worry about it your life is much easier already.
11. EXAMPLE OF BAD ROLEPLAYING!:
OTHER RULES~ May apply but not always. So they are not listed in the agreement but you need to understand that these rules are enforced.
1.Bunnying~ This may or may not apply, it depends on the type or RP you are playing in.
Bunnying, or 'Opponent Acting' is writing out the actions of all the characters present, not just your own. This is mandatory here. Yes, we're intimately aware of the potential for God-moding, and precautionary measures have been put in place to ensure that God-moding doesn't happen. If you're under the delusion that 'No one can understand your character like you can', and fear that others will misportray your character, then that's your own failing as a writer. Even mediocre writers should be able to get the base idea of their character's personality across.

Example of Power Playing:
Kelly grabbed onto Neo's arm and flung her into the wall snapping her rib.
The only person that can hurt a character or kill a character is the player owning the character or another player who has expressed permission from the player.
Example of God Moding:
Terra was struck by a missile while sitting on the wall. Five minutes later she crawled out of a pile or rubble.
If your character falls extremely far, is decapitated, or encounters other events in which a normal cat would die they don't just live or make a miraculous save and live. Dead is dead.
Example of Flaming:
OOC- YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THIS THREAD! No one likes you here. nOOb! You are so stupid!
Basically, Flaming is any kind of screaming, insulting, name-calling, etc. If you have a problem contact an admin member. All caps is considered yelling and we WILL point it out to you.

11. EXAMPLE OF BAD ROLEPLAYING!:
* Goes to window*
I go to window and look out.
(the problem with these is who is doing it? Who went to the window? Who did? We don't memorize everyone's characters and sometimes people write the same way for every character and it is annoying. )
Go C the doc 4 an apt.
I will c u tmrw.
(No abbreviations. Write out the whole word...all of it.)
EXAMPLE OF GOOD ROLEPLAYING:
"Next to Cathy's lifeless form arose a light. The light began to take form and shaped itself into what looked to be a woman. At that point it began to solidify, it looked to have gossamer wings and pale white skin. Soon the light faded and a statue like woman stood before them. The woman was an angelic and in no other words could she be described. "Children." She touched Crystal and jolted her awake. "Do not fear for your Goddess is with you." Once the light had faded it could be seen that her skin held a tinge of silver and her hair was the color of moonlight, her eyes the color of the ocean and her cloths the colors of the earth. "Come to me and I will heal your wounds." She opened her arms and let her motherly presence fill the room.
It felt right to everyone, like welcomed home by a loving mother from a storm. She would keep them safe and warm and keep them well. It was in her vary presence that she was the most divine, scary thing in the universe but at the same time she was that gentle mother they learned so much about in their magic training.
It was part of everyone's training that they learned about the Goddesses and Gods that granted them their powers. The most highly worshiped were Luna, Gaia, and Athena, this was obviously The Great Mother Earth, Gaia. She stood before them, impossibly, but still she was there." ~ ARSRPs
THIS IS NOT A SUGGESTION! This is the only way to write. Shame on all of you think otherwise. I understand this may be a turn away for some people but it is better thought of as a challenge. Could you do it? Better yet can you test it?
